SC needs to understand students Maan ki Baat

 

 

As the students wait for the decision on whether the final year exams will be conducted or not. The Supreme Court verdict on UGC case will be taken tomorrow. While the students are tormented between the SC decision-making process most of the students are anxious and worried.

The SC needs to hear students Maan ki Baat and understand the problems which will be faced by them. While the UGC is standstill on its decision students have numerous problems which are most likely not undertaken by the court. It's not like students are opposing UGC but they've other reasons like most of them cannot travel due to the shutdown, the maximum number of students live in a joint family because of they'll have to think about their elderly family members. While states like Gujarat, Bihar, Assam and Rajasthan are facing massive rain problem because of which taking online exams will be being harsh on the students. Shortage of electricity and lack of internet facility will be another disadvantage for some students.

In a poll conducted by Timesnownews.com , 92.03% of students demanded cancellation of the exam. As many of 47,972 people cast the vote, 92.03% wants exams to be cancelled while the remaining 7.97% wants the exams to be conducted. By the poll done it can be clearly observed that what students prefer over the UGC decision.

Maharashtra government and Shiv Sena leader wrote to PM, drawing his attention on the increasing case in the country and said, "This isn't a practical and feasible option sir, as most states are facing an increasing number of Covid, along with red zones still in place and transport yet to resume."

However, the verdict will be coming tomorrow, while there is a lot of expectation the final decision would be on the question if the state has the authority to cancel the university exam.
