Kashmir: After One Year of Scrapping Out Article 370
While the abrogation was done with the motive to enhance the standard of living, for better integration, dor getting equal rights and privileges just like every other Indian, to enhance the economic growth, land rights and the returning of the Kashmiri Pandits all of these seems to be a hoax now.
Ever since August 5, 2019, Kashmir has been under full or partial lockdown along with internet restriction imposed of them. Which was later started with 2G speed. With the 2G speed, Kashmiri students have been grappling to attend online lectures, students are in distress and have been missing school for over a year now.
The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce (KCCI) estimated that Kashmir's economy has experienced losses up to $5.3bn and more than 100,000 people have become unemployed.86% of the drop was solely seen in the tourism sector since Article 370 was scrapped out.
The mental health of Kashmiri people has been deteriorating while the students are been forced to study online with the poor internet facilities, restricted to go out and live in the fear of being cut down from others.Unemployment is on peak and the people of Kashmir are still oblivious of what's waiting for them ahead.
