Black and White selfies for women: "Challenge Accepted" trending on Instagram

From the past several days we've been noticing a trend on Instagram where women are posting their selfies in black and white and tagging other women to do so.

Famous celebs such as Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Malaika Arora, Sonam Kapoor and many renowned personalities posted their monochromatic pictures of themselves on Instagram while Kareena Kapoor posted a photo of his son and his cousin and quoted "Empower. Support.Love. Never lose the child in you.

Women across the globe are sharing their selfies to interpret that "women support each other".While some others are counter viewing it and says that instead of posting selfies we should be promoting women work from different fields to encourage other women to do so. 

While others proclaim that the real reason behind posting a black and white photo is to make people aware of the femicide happening in Turkey.
